April showers may bring flowers


come see the blossoms this month at High Park!

It won't be long before the cherry blossoms are in full bloom at High Park. If you can survive just a few more weeks you'll be able to enjoy everything spring in Toronto has to offer. Here are some things you may want to check out this month:

April 11th,18th, 25th

Like board games but have no one to play with? Try the Wednesday drop in board game night from 6-10pm. $6 lets you stay and play board games all night, players and instructions provided!

April 12th to 15th

This documentary film festival focuses on water, and the issues that face our global water systems. Sure to appeal to water and documentary lovers alike ;)

April 13th

Now a famous internet meme, you can finally see him perform live in concert at the Opera House. He's never gonna give you up, or let you down! Tickets may already be sold out. 19+ event.

April 14th and 15th

Coffee and tea lovers, this is the event you have been waiting for. See and taste what innovations are being made in brewing your favourite beverages. Join workshops on how to best serve coffee and tea! Tickets are $15.

April 17th to 21st

This is one of Toronto's premiere fashion events. This year's theme is "connect", with designers and artists looking at how technology is changing communication.

$15 tickets for students with valid student ID.

April 19th 9pm to 1am

This could be the biggest party the AGO has ever thrown! Massive Illusion promises to blend DJ dance music with mind bending visual experiences. Not for the faint of heart! Tickets are $175 or $150 for members.

April 26th to May 6th

Two documentary film festivals in one month? Yes, lightning can strike twice in the same place. Hot Docs features the world's best major and minor documentary film features. Buy tickets for individual films, or get a pass and see them all!
