Changing leaves and pumpkin lattes, November is here
Sure it's gotten a little cooler, but there are plenty of things to enjoy out and about Toronto this month. Here is our list of the top events this November:
Until Dec 31st
YPT's production of Disney's animated classic film is sure to impress any fan. Tickets range from $19-$40.
Until December 1st
Dunkirk (Friday) and Beauty and the Beast (Saturday) will be screened at the iconic Ontario Place Cinesphere. Check out these films in breathtaking 70mm! $15 for adults.
November 7th, 8th (special time: 5:30pm to 6:30pm), 9th, 14th, 17th, 21st, 22nd, 28th, and 30th. From 12pm to 1pm.
It's worth planning your day around this popular free concert to enjoy some classical music in the afternoon. Arrive and line up early to get seats, as this small amphitheater fills up very quickly.
November 9th to 12th
Iceland is coming to Toronto. This festival features food, film, and culture of the Icelandic people at different locations around Toronto. Follow the link to get more details on times and locations.
Until November 10th, 17th, and 24th
DJs, Dinos, and a big dance floor. This months DJs bring themes of heroes, Hip Hop, and Disco. November 24th's event features free access to the new Christian Dior exhibit! Tickets are $17.
There will be a Remembrance Day ceremonies all over Toronto on the 11th, but one of the largest will occur at Queens Park. You can also watch online, by following the link above. All are welcome. Please observe a moment of silence at 11am on November 11th wherever you are in Canada.
Celebrating the unique culture of the Regent Park area, this four day film and culture event is free to attend and explore, so check out the event schedule and enjoy!
November 16th to December 23rd
It's the Christmas market that everyone's been waiting for. Turkey Legs. Cider. Photo Opportunities. They are all back! Walk around and enjoy the atmosphere. $6 to enter on Fridays after 5pm and on weekends.
November 18th at 8pm
Canadian Taiko Group Nagata Shachu will perform 15 songs expressing the phases of the moon. Sure to be a one of a kind performance!
November 19th starting at 12:30pm
A tradition for over 100 years, this year's parade will begin at Christie Pits Park and move towards the centre of downtown. Free for all to attend, but wear some warm clothing!
Toronto Cheesecake Factory Grand Opening @ Yorkdale Shopping Mall
November 21st
If you love cheesecake then you probably will be interested in this new location of the world famous Cheesecake Factory. Store opens at 11:30am.
November 25th at 7pm
This free event features fireworks, ice skating, and the official lighting of the iconic TORONTO sign. Come and join the crowd as we light up the skies!
November 28th at 8:15pm
The Holiday Train will return, brightly lit and decorated to bring holiday cheer across Canada. Donations will be collected for the local food bank, so please bring a non-perishable item of food to donate. Free to attend.
